Brief Introduction

Aero Engine Maintenance Training Center (AEMTC) is a Chinese-foreign cooperative training institution, specializing in GE and CFMI commercial aircraft engines maintenance training. AEMTC is one of CAAC’s vocational training facilities. The parties are: 

  - Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) 

  - GE Transportation (GE)

  - China Aviation Supplies Import and Export Group Cor. (CASGC)

  - Snecma Moteurs (SN)

  - Civil Aviation Flying University of China (CAFUC)

  - CFM International, Inc. (CFMI) 
  

The Mission of AEMTC is to provide advanced and high quality training courses,to improve airline personnel maintenance skills and enhance the understanding of aircraft engine basic theory, and improve the quality of maintenance management level. In summary,

(a) build a world class training facility;

(b) teach world class maintenance technology;

(c) develop and deliver world class training quality;

(d) improve the customer's ability to provide smooth, safe operation.

AEMTC Main Customers are those airlines in China who operate GE/CFMI engines. Other customers are those airlines who operate GE/CFMI engines but not within China and those engine service providers both in and out of China. 


AEMTC Training Quality shall meet the requirements of GE and CFMI and the certification requirements of the CAAC airworthiness department as specified in the Airworthiness procedures.
